TYPE OF PROJECTS TO BE FUNDED: Transnational Research and Innovation (R&I) projects developing knowledge, technologies, tools, methodologies and solutions for a sustainable, resilient and innovative blue economy. Projects may address marine infrastructures, digital and ecosystem-based approaches to sea use, sustainable production and harvesting of blue bioresources, circular blue bioeconomy, and the resilience of coastal communities, infrastructures and businesses. SECTORS / DOMAIN: Marine and Maritim Research; Energy and Environment; Agriculture and Food; Circular Economy and Sustainability. INDIVIDUAL OR CONSORTIUM: Consortium applications are required. Each consortium must include eligible partners from at least three different countries participating in the call and request financial support from at least three different participating funding organisations. It must also include at least two independent legal entities from two different EU Member States or Horizon Europe Associated Countries eligible for EU funding under the call. Self-funded partners may participate but do not count towards the minimum consortium requirements and cannot act as consortium coordinator. SPECIFIC ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: Each partner must comply with both the general call eligibility criteria and the applicable national or regional eligibility and funding rules set out in Annex B.
