Call | Belspo NL FR EN Other official information and services: www.belgium.be Home News Jobs Agenda Calls Publications About us Contact ☰ Calls Transnational research call of JPI Cultural Heritage on ‘Heritage, Society and Ethics’ Introduction As part of the Joint Programming Initiative Cultural Heritage and Global Change (JPI CH), BELSPO is participating in a new transnational research call on ‘Heritage, Society and Ethics’ alongside funding agencies from Czech Republic, France, Lithuania, The Netherlands, Norway, Romania (Participation of UEFISCDI is under approval), Spain, and the United Kingdom. JPI CH CHSE funded projects should explore the relationship between these three notions from a Social Sciences and Humanities perspective, thus being able to address current conceptual frameworks and facilitating the emergence of new ones. They should create conditions for new ways of engagement and dialogue between disciplines and stakeholders; study what the impact of these new ways in varied cultural contexts. Applicants are encouraged to adopt multi- and trans-disciplinary methodologies and approaches. Research proposals must address at least one, and if possible both, of the two following themes: THEME 1: Cultural Heritage and economic development.
